I just got back from Wal-Mart and boy do they have some awesome prices on bunny stuffies! I got some small ones for $.74 and some medium ones for $1.24!
So all you doggies who love stuffies, but just can't seem to keep them around very long, tell your mommies to go to Wal-Mart and get some from the bargain bins:D (Hey, they're about the price of a good treat!)
I'll take some pics later:)

Thanks for the tip! Another good place to buy stuffies is at yard sales. You will find lots of abandoned children's stuffed animals there and they go for about $1.00 or less. Also your local thrift store or Goodwill has lots of homeless stuffies. Of course these don't come with squeakers but my Bella usually gets the squeaker out within the first half hour anyway.

I went out on Easter day and bought a lot of little stuffies for my dogs and my fosters.

This one is my baby boy's new best friend and was only 50 cents at Walgreens!

I would love to get more stuffies for the kids, but I gave each one a new one this last weekend and they fought over all of them. I ended up having to put them up.

Molly and Max had a field day trying to get the squeaker out of this one.

Then after that one was put away, Max played keep away with this one!

Lots of growling later, their toys were both put up where no one can see them. I got Carly a toy too, but she just ignored the whole thing with a look of disdain.

I want to see lots of pictures, Anna. I love to see doggies enjoying their toys. They make me smile because to them there is no greater joy. :)

I don't catch Huney with a stuffie in her mouth all that often, so it really surprised me when I caught her carrying this duckie!

Roxey really liked this one (can't see it very well). It had something in it that made it chirp, she loved it (for about a minute:rolleyes: )!

Angus is such a big sweetie!!!!
Do you think he would be embarrased if he knew you were showing his picture while he was holding a stuffie???;)
I picked up a few last night--the eyes didn't make it, but they rest of them are still together--even after 3-way tug of war!!!!

Am I the ONLY one that sees a problem with 'encouraging' your puppy to play with stuffies? How does he/she know not to go after your personal stuffies? I caught Binx with one of my lovely tuxedo stuffies, and now, I have to do a floor sweep everyday to make sure none get knocked off at night, into the 'lion pit' !!!

I must admit the pics are cute, and what a bargain, Anna!

Joahana, I keep my stuffies put up. Drake has tried to go after Woozer, the stuffed doggies from when I was a kid and Albert, the green frog, my sorority mascot. Just had to put them up.

I have always thought some of the toys at Pet stores were a bit over priced. I don't buy many squeeky toys. I find Drake tries to rip those up to see what is making the noise.

Last weekend, a friend of mine wanted to use Andrew's truck to pick up a desk she had found at the local thrift store. I went in with her and saw all the stuffies. $1.00 and $0.50! I walked out with two big bags full. Threw them in the washer and then dried them. Now Drake has so many new toys to play with. And I am proud of the deal that I got! It's a win-win situation!

And Anna, I just love the pictures you posted!!

Believe it or not, I just tell them to "leave it". It only takes once or maybe twice & they get the point. They know which ones are theirs, guess they're just smart;)

Thanks for the sweet comments on the pics, they've really been having alot of fun with their toys!

Wow Drake? Two bags of stuffies? Your sooo lucky you got such a good mommy!

lovemyshiba, nope don't think he'd be embarrased at all, he loves his stuffies:D Sorry to hear some of your stuffies were wounded:eek: :D

My personal stuffies are not within the dogs reach--and if they are, they dogs know better--I also tell them to leave it, and they do, after 2 or 3 times!!!
I cannot buy the expensive stuffies with squeakers either--it drives them nuts trying to get at it!!!! I like the cheap ones better!!!!
