It is so nice to see Jack feeling more comfortable with us. He and Snoopy have become fast friends and they often wrestle. Taggert and Dazzi aren't so certain of him yet and therefore don't play with him a whole lot. He and Taggert try to play at times but Taggert is just a litte leary of his size.

Great pictures!! It is great seeing jack playing with the other pups!

I finally got to meet Jack a few times over the past week and he is a sweetheart!! Just wants to be loved!!!

He seems to do okay with Cincy and Spot, but he is not too sure of Sadie yet. I think it is partially becuse she is the only one tall enough to look him in the eye, and partially because he recognizes her as the alpha of my house and needs to establish himself with her. It may take some time, but I'm sure as they get to know each other, things will work out. (at least I hope, or I need to start looking for a new dog sitter :) )

No way are you taking dog sitting rights away from their grandmother. I'll sue for custody. I am sure Jack and Sadie will get things worked out. Remember he's only been here for 2 weeks and is adjusting to 4 new siblings. And his growl is worse than his bite.

Sorry Rachel, my husband keeps saying I can't have any more dogs. But then when I get mad at one and say I'm going to find it a new home, he says my punishment for not listening to him about not getting anymore is that now I have to keep them no matter what! He always says then that they are his pups and I can't get rid of his dogs. So I guess I am stuck with that cutey Jack! (and Taggert and Snoopy and Dazzi and Oreo!)

Oh, he's such a cutie! I can't wait to meet him! Thanks for sharing the pics. Even though dad always says he doesn't want these dogs, after all 3 of the males I think I've seen cuddling pics with him and them, what's up with that? He likes the idea of having more males around! He can't lie, it's in the pics!

Glad to see that Jack's fitting in well and that he and Snoopy are getting along so well! Love that pic too! And what's up with those recliner, they all seem to stick to those!

You are right Christy, he talks big but he is almost as crazy about the dogs as I am. And it's not just the males. Dazzi is his sweetheart and he likes to take her with him on errands since she goes to and from the car without a leash and behaves well in the car. He took her to Amy's a week ago when I couldn't go along. He often pays more attention to Oreo than I do too.

I have been thinking alot about this statement. So many people do not understand why I love dogs and have so many. But I think this says it all. Dogs just want to be loved and give love so willingly. From the start, Jack came up to us, pushed his head into our laps and not just asked to be loved but demanded to be loved. He is so trusting of us it is amazing. He has come into a strange home, got baths every few days when it has been who knows how long since his last, have his ears wiped cleaned and more medicine put in everyday and then eye medicine put in his eyes. Annd while he may try to pull away to keep the medicine away from his eyes and ears, he never growls at us or tries to bite at us or anything. But he puts up with it all because "he just wants to be loved." Isn't that awesome?

Yep, dad has always stuck more to Oreo than any of us. I remember the days he would sit there in the family room and pet Oreo most of the night while he watched his tv shows. Now it's coming back to me, he'd complain the most about the dogs and then gave Oreo the most attention and is obviously still giving the pets around there bunches of attention! Never realized all of that until now mom!
