She howled all night practically last night and I am bringing her in the vets office this morning to see if that is the case..if so, they won't do surgery on her until it is gone..I am on my way so please wish us luck..
each time she has gone to the litter box she acts like she is gonna go and keeps changing places with small amounts of urine each time.....gosh, my poor baby....

We will keep our fingers and paws crossed that it is a UTI easily cleared up with anti-biotics.

Well, we just got back from the vet and she does have a UTI...the vet put her on some clavamox for 10 days twice a day and hopefully this will clear it up...then after it is cleared she will schedule her to be spayed after that....all and all, she acts fine now, and didn't have any problems going when she got home....thanks for thinking of Fluffy everyone!

A common side effect of the Clavamox is diarrhea. If Fluffy develops it (or you want to prevent it) try giving her a couple of tablespoonsful of plain yogurt and that should take care of the problem for you.

Good luck, and I am glad that it was something as simple as a UTI.

Poor Fluffy. I know that the medicine will work, but it is true that diarrhea is a common side effect. Maybe this was her sneaky way of not having to go to surgery yet. (little joke)
Hope she feels better real soon.
