Yup, Kira is still here. There's been a little interest in her, but no one has followed through. My FIL is coming up in a couple weeks and I am hoping to send him home with a dog. How could anyone resist this smile?

Good Question! Best guess is Shepherd-Whippet, but I really don't have a clue!

she reminds me of an alaskan husky...not siberian, alaskan ;) They were developed out of wolves, siberian huskies, irish setters and greyhounds. :)

Around here, just about any dog can be called an alaskan husky. I own several of them--Sleet, Goldie, Pingo, Delta, Antare,...They are mostly siberian mixed with pointer, border collie, malamute, greyhound. Wolves don't make good sled dogs!

I don't see alot of husky in her--she's good off leash and she has no fur. Can't handle the cold at all. But I might try her in harness soon!:D
