hi this most propaly sounds really stupid but does any one know how to have a icon/ smilies.luigi2

Smilies are clickable next to the box you typed in to make your post. If, when you say icon, you are referring to an avatar, that little picture under one's name at the left, I can tell you how to do that, too.

Smilies can also be added just by typing, for example colon-then closed parentheses : then ) will show up as :)
