Remember to always have a basic seed diet, adding these foods every couple of days. Do not overfeed in attempt to try out all of them. Below is a dietary balance for hamsters:
17.5% protein (at least)

58% carbohydrates
0.3-0.5% calcium
8.5% crude fiber (at most)
Vitamins (E is most important)
