Guys, all I am asking is that if you would show support for our troops. I am NOT asking for you to support the war...I truly don't care, but our troops need the moral support. Chinadoll, Dakota's Mom, and Doggies are Best are 3 military wives/girlfriends on here that I know and Jackie the wife of a retired military man and I am the wife of a former military man. All deserve our thanks for putting their lives on the line so that we can be safe.

Dear Friends:

Regardless of your politics and beliefs in U.S. policy, the men and women
doing the dirty work deserve our respect. Please visit the Department of
Defense web page and sign-in, thanking the men and women of the U.S.
military services for defending our freedom. At the end of the month a complete list
of signatures will be sent to them. March is Military Appreciation Month and
so far only some four million have signed up. We must do better than that!

The e mail address is http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html

I signed. I really hope this thread doesn't get nasty like the last one, too - whether you support war or not, these guys are doing noble work and deserve to be awknowledged.

I signed for my hubby and I too. My husband was in the Air Force during the Viet Nam war although was not sent overseas. I know the feeling of waiting for orders to come down, though, and wish these men and their families the very best and Godspeed home!

Our whole family signed, Mugsy - a small gesture compared to what they do for us!

I signed. Although, I think I've seen this before and signed then, but it's never enough thanks. I'm doing alright. I talk to Joey everyday...it's when he finally leaves California for overseas in a few weeks that it'll get harder. Thanks everyone, your support really does make a world of difference to them.

I signed it for myself and Terry USMC Vietnam '66 & '68.

And for those in other countries, it asks what country you're from so they will know that people in other countries support them too.

And this is only to support the troops - not the war. These guys didn't ask to be sent off, they joined the military and swore to follow orders, and that is what they are doing. And I know they will follow orders to the best of their ability - no matter how they may personally feel about the war.
