Great link, lizbud! It said I was ready. Good thing - with the three furbabies I have at home!

Wish more people would look at it before they bring home a puppy. But , unfortunately too many people don't think it through. Animals (dogs, cats, birds, etc.) are a life-long commitment - not a commodity to be thrown away when the mood strikes.

Some adults get a dog just to keep their kids from whining
about getting one. Seems the focus should be on how to make
the animal's life better and as a side benefit, improve your own
happiness. So sad when the animal is the one who loses when
things are'nt looked at realistically beforehand. It would prevent
a lot of misery & heartache for animals & people.
