She will have to upload them to a website first. Go to www.imagestation.com and sign up with them. Upload your pics there. Click on the pic and right click on it. Click on properties. Copy the URL and then do what WolfChan said. :)

Ps. You don't have to resize the pics for posting them in this way.

Oops didn't see this til now, hehe. Those animals are animals I sometimes get in as rescues, but I am SURE you have read about Homer before? I have talked about him lots of times...although I think mostly in the General section. The fennecs and other odd types are not my personal pets, they are rescues who usually stay here til they find new homes. Have you not seen Peanut either? Hrrmmmm........should I post pics? I have before but can do it again, no harm in seeing cute pets!:D

First off here is Peanut (rock cavie, microcavia australias), on the left, and my guinea pig on the right.

My favorite pic of Peanut, it is the clearest one I have!

What about the Fennec Fox?? :(

Anyways, Peanut passed away 2 weeks ago fromunknown causes. :( We don't know what it was frombut are pretty sure it was diet related, as there is NOTHING on captive husbandry for this species. Peanut was an illegal immagrant who was bought at last years Expo from ZZ, his brother dies only days after I had him, from diabetes, and it is assumed that like degus, they can not tolerate sugar in the diet. It's really too bad that someone bred his parents without handing down their information at the show.....it was a guess as to what he ate. sigh

Peanut? Was he a fennec fox?

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the fox, and the pics of Peanut I had to take off of my tv, while I was running the video from my camcorder. I wish I knew how I could transfer the data to online, it is great footage! It has my degus running around so fast lol, they almost fall off their wheel!:p

I always regreted not taking more pics of the animals, but now I know. At least I have ONE really good pic of Peanut.

Rachel, Peanut is a rock cavie, they are related to guinea pigs. :)

I don't usually buy exotic pets unless I absolutely have to, ie in a VERY bad situation. I couldn't ever see myself having a monkey, maybe a ring tail but I think that is all I would go......I do rescue so most of my animals I get that way. I buy all my rats though...well most of them. :p

monkeyluver

Ringed tails are harder to own then marmosets! Rescue is cool. I got my parrot from a rescue and I got my dog from a shelter

Me too.

Watching goats give birth is really neat. I love it when the kids suckle on your fingers. Winston loves to bang into everyone with his horns...and all of them love to nibble, nibble, nibble, nibble, and nibble somemore. Whatever comes in the barn is bound to get nibbled on.

I went with Shawn to get two males castrated, that was horrible! You could hear them bleeting in the backroom....:( :( When we got back we gave 'em lots of lovin' though. :D

Heehee, cute! Goats are the bestest friends for horses. Goats are often kept as stall companions for horses. Harley (Shawn's horse) shared his pasture with 47 goats!!! :D :D

Ya I know but regular monkeys kinda scare me. :o

OMG YLL, IF YOU HAVE GOATS PLEASE POSTS PICTURES!!!! I hate the things they do to livestock, and hoofstock. One of the things we had to do in school was dehorning, it's discusting!!!!!!!!!

OMG I LOVE goats. After birds, my favorite "pet" would be a goat. Well, maybe after kitties too..................but I LOVE LOVE LOVE goats.

Ps. Monkeylv'r, I saw your pets' pics and they are just SO adorable! I especially love your parrot! Can he talk? He's SO pretty!

Thanks popcorn bird! Yes Abduel can say "Hello" "Bad monkey" "Time for seeds" and "I love you" and "Hello Pretty Bird!"

Abduel is a very lucky birdy! He gives birdie nibbles to you!(He does this when he is happy).

My aunt had a spider monkey when I was little. He was meaner than crap though, he bit! I saw the pics of your monkeys though and they look so freindly and cute. Almost makes me want one. Maybe one day.:)

Well all monkeys get attitude probelms but ones that are kept singly often have it worse then ones kept in pairs like mine. Mine are very friendly. They have a weird way of showing they like you though. They start to pinch!

Any animal as intelligent as a monkey will get an 'attitude', but I don't really think it's a problem as long as you have enough time to devote to them. They're usually just showing you how smart they are!

RogueFerret
03-17-2003, 06:36 PM
Maybe I'm exagerating some, my aunt's monkey wasn't horribly mean, really it was only one incident. But I was little and it kind of stuck in my mind.

Every time my mom would go to my aunts house, she would bring the monkey (Cole was his name by the way) a piece of fruit. She left one morning and didn't bring fruit with her because she was out. Cole went up to my mom, looked in her hands for the fruit, and when he saw she did not bring him any, he bit her on the back of her hand.

I believe so. :( :( :( :( I'm not 100% sure, we had to stay in the waiting room, and you could hear them "bleeting" in the other room. Like I said, I am not 100% sure- but I don't think they did.

No they don't give them pain meds or anesthatize them ether. The same thing goes for dehorning, it is discusting, but unfortunately when you are a vet student those are the things you have to learn. :(

Wolfchan-You are absoulutly right! Luckily I spend most of my time with my little guys and I'm not worried that much when maturity comes.

RogueFerret- Monkeys are like that. It's kinda like if you give a kid a peice of candy everyday and one day you're out they'll be naturally upset.
