This is my first attempt at posting pictures, so I hope I succeed. Here are my two little babies, Emily (the tuxedo) and Tanner (the orange kitty).

MMMM, I seem to be doing something wrong. I have followed Phred's directions, but since I am not using imagestation maybe they won't work for me...

Oh well, I will keep trying and see if I can get some up for everyone.

I think, only ImageStation works. Not sure.

You've got too many http: 's in the front. The address needs to read like http://www.snapfish..........

Go in and edit, and just remove the everything in front of the second http: and it should work.

Hopefully anyway 'cause I can't wait to see them! :D

Hi T & P's Mom,

I just tried your suggestion and it doesn't seem to be working. I think that the problem is that these are not digital photos, but rather an online photo album hosted by snapfish. I am going to have to play with this some more. :(

Thanks any ways.

I looked into it further, and no it won't work the way you have the addresses typed in. I hadn't gone all the way to the end of your url before. I believe it needs to end with .jpg or similar.

When you're in Snapfish and your picture is up on the screen, you are right clicking on it right? Then left click on properties and copy the entire "address" or "URL." Then when you get back to PT, click on the IMG button and remove the http: that is already in there, then paste the address of the picture there.

To make it easy, to cut, first of all you have to highlight the entire address, then I hit CTRL and the letter "v". Then to paste I put the cursur where I want it, then hit CTRL and the letter "p".

I hope this helps some. :D

I did it :D :D :D

This is a little more complex that I thought, but I finally figured out what the problem was. Hopefully I will be able to post more pictures soon.

I can't see it. :( It seems that you are posting off your harddrive, which won't work. You can see it because those pics are on your computer, but we can't.

Here's what you need to do.

Go to www.imagestation.com

Sign up with them. Make an account (its free)

Upload your photos there (they don't have to be digital. They just have to be on your comp and in JPEG format. You can save them as JPEG if they are not already in that format)

Once uploaded, click on "storage bin"

Click on the photo you want to post

Right click on the picture after it opens in a seperate window

Click on Properties

Highlight and copy the URL

Come back to PT and open a post window

Click on IMG and paste the URL in the IMG box

Click ok

Post the message

Hope this helps!

It seems that I just can't quite make this work. I think the problem is that I am not using a digital camera, but rather a single use camera with pictures posted online.

I guess I am just going to have to wait and add a digital camera to my "wish list" after graduation :)

As long as the pictures are online, they should work no matter what kind of camera they come from. I'll PM you to see if I can help.
