A house a cross the street from us caught fire early Sunday morning. The roof is completely caved in, and the back of the house is caved in also. The front of the house is charred and burnt, and there is police tape surrounding the house. An 82 year old woman died, she was trapped in the house, three other family members are being treated for smoke inhalation(sp).

The fire was on the local news. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

That's so sad. Usually this time if year it's from a space heater. :(

Oh how sad, her family will be in my prayers.
So many fires I am hearing of lately--makes me double check my smoke alarm batteries and double check that I don't leave anything on.

That's sad. I don't think our house would burn down without any of us knowing.. Our smoke alarm goes off just when i step out of a hot shower.

OMG! That is so sad! :(:(:( Sorry to hear that. :( Is it right in front of your house, or a little further?

It's about 5 houses down from us on the opposite side of the block. We never met the people. :( :(
