Well Hayley has discovered catnip. I read in a magazine that kittens usually don't be attracted to catnip until they are about 6 months old. Hayley is now 4 and 1/2 months old so I guess she discovered it a little early!:D I bought these homemade mice from a local pet store that have catnip in them. They were recomended by a friend who said you could not destroy them. Hayley is on her second one already! I hope they get more.

I am also now convinced that Whiskas Temptations has catnip in them. Hayley didn't like them at all and now she does. It seems her taste changed after she discovered this kitty crack! There has to be something in them. Does anybody know?

I'm thinking about buying my co-owned cat at my best friends house some catnip casue she's laid back and fat and it would be funny to watch her.

Actually, the most questionable ingredients are possibly the synthetic antioxidants BHA and BHT. Many of the other chemical-sounding ingredients are actually the proper names of many vitamins. (Sorry, I just had to put on my chemist hat for a minute!;) )

Actually of the 13 residents of the lost cats hotel only Moose The Magnificent < Princess the Paranoid , Mellow Michael and Sensational Sam show any real interest in Catnip , the other nine have absolutely no interest at all ,although theyplay with the toys.
