So who all is participating??

The deadline to send the gift is Feb 24, right?

Yesterday I went to the mall and bought the gift for the person...:D....I haven't bought the pet gifts yet, but I have some in mind!

I went shopping last week sometime...it was *so* much fun!!!! Mark & I had a blast. All I have to do now is find a box and get to the PO during business hours. This was a great idea!!! :D

Great! :D Hey the post office will give you the priority mail boxes for free...I always get those, they are lightweight and easy to mail!

I haven't been shopping yet, but I have a couple of ideas. I've been too busy worrying about Bassett all weekend.. :( But I have the next week off school, so I will be done by Friday at the latest so I can post it when the office is open.

The package is officially in the hands of the fedex man!!! I decided to fedex it because with my hubby's discount it would be same as USPS'ing it. This is so exciting!!! :D (This also means that Mark's name is on the box, not mine)

I shopped yesertday and will be sending my package out tomorrow. I will probably be out of town when mine arrives :( Andrew and Drake will be out of town too. They are hiking for 2 weeks on the Applachian Trail! I am so envious! But I will be having a great time in Lebanon with my Mom and Dad!

I priority mailed my package yesterday. I didn't put my name on it, were we supposed to?

I thought, as I was preparing the package - this is SO COOL! I don't have to disguise my handwriting, as no one has seen it here! (Okay, unless they're gonna dig out Christmas cards to compare handwriting samples ... forgot about that!)

In the Secret Santa at work, I write all tags left-handed, as my left-handed writing looks completely different than my normal right-handed writing! I can write legibly left-handed because when I was bored in school, I would practice writing leftie, well, at least when I wasn't doodling!

Yes,I got your PM's but I done gave Ashley the name you were suppose to get. Hopefully if we have another gift swap we will be able to get each other's e-mails and PM's better. Sorry about this time. Hope you'll want to join in the next one. Long as this one goes well.:) I'm sure it will:D

I put my name/address on mine. I mail things all the time, and I've had a couple of things lost in the mail....I'd rather play it safe and have a return address. I should have sent it priority though. :(

I put my name on it too. Actually, I ended up telling my person they had me :p I was too excited to wait!!! But I made sure she was still curious by giving all kinds of sneaky hints.. I'm very curious to see what will show up here.. as are Bassett, Tilly and Nutmeg!!!! :D

I sent my package on the 21st. The lady at Canada Post said it would take 7 to 10 business days so I will not be hearing from it for another while. I hope the receiver likes what I sent. I sure do and one of the things in it is one of Hayley's favorites!

OMG! When I got home from work yesterday there was this big box! It was full of goodies for my boys! There's squeaky toys, peanut butter treats (they love them) gravy milk bones (wow, they're going to think they've died and gone to heaven) and a beatiful little note pad with dogs on it. I wanted to apoligize to my person. There are alot of things going on in my house right now and one of them is very diffcult for me to come to grips with so my package will be late, hopefully I will get it sent out soon, I just need to get it to the post office but leaving the house tonight or tomrrow is not an option so monday maybe, again I'm so sorry, if I knew all of this was going to happen I wouldn't of signed up. I got mine today!!! There is another thread about this that Tina started too, and I already posted there. I love everything!!! The kitties got mousies, jingle balls, pompops, a fishing rod, treats and what looks like a homemade mousie that Bassett LOVES!! I got a really nice address/occasion book set with kitties on it. I love everything!

I don't know who my person is though.. so THANK YOU MYSTERY PERSON!!! :)

Aww the pics are so cute. You all look like you had a blast! I think we should have a buddy list like this every six months, where you buddy up with one person for lets say six months, and through that time send letters, pictures and little boxes to eachother during that time. Then after the six months is up, new people can sign up and do it over again. :)

We have something similar like this on our rat list I belong to. We send things to eachother every so often, both for pets and the person themselves. For instance if the owner liked a certain candy bar we would send them that one week, and the next maybe a few pictures and a note. I think it would be so fun to have "buddies" for six months!!!! Anyone want to do it?!!! It would be so much fun. :D

Yep, I think there was talk about doing it twice a year, maybe sometime after christmas:)
