I've seen that before and was baffled by it. Then I decided to try to figure it out and I think I did.

It works cause any number you choose, when you add them together and subtract from the original, you'll always get the same number within the 10 digit range

62 = 54
63 = 54
64 = 54
88 = 72
87 = 72
86 = 72

54 and 72 will have the same symbol...

Wow that IS really cool!! It creeped me out, but I think I kind of figured it out. The symbols change every time you do it. The symbol that shows when you click is ALWAYS the symbol for 0. I can't really explain it past that, but it can only be a certain number of figures, and those ones always have the same symbol (all snowflakes, or all birds etc.) I'm going to forward it on to some of my friends!!!

I'm glad someone figured it out--I like stuff like that, but it always drives me nuts--it's too late to figure it out now!!

That was great!

For the talkers who can't get it to work - make sure you subtract the number from your original number!! I did it three times and thought 'Rubbish'!! Then realized I'd not taken the number from the original!! After that - it worked!!! Oh put it down to old age!!
