Peaches

I got some pictures of Peaches our Chameleon. I can't beleave how big she has gotten she used to only be 2 milla grams. So tiny. Now I think she is 3. She is growing up sooo fast!!

Isn't she so big! Almost the size of our hand! She used to only be as big as our fingers! Well, listen to me babble on and on about how big she has gotten :rolleyes:

OMG! I never knew you had one of those! Cool! The only pet you are missing in the household is a bird! You have dogs, cats, rats, a bunny, fish, this chameleon! But where's your birdie? ;) That's the last animal you need! LOL

I don't know tons about them, just basics. My dad's friend had four of them- and took excellent care of them. He spent tons of money on them, getting them the proper food, cage, lamps, etc. The humidity dropped 5% n the cage, if I remember correctly, and they died!! :eek: :eek:

I guess they would need a heating rock and stuff like that sorta like Iggys?I noticed reptiles(like exotic lizards) are really hard to take care of!

Acctually. Don't tell anyone this. And please please please don't take this the wrong way, but when my rats pass on, hopefully not for anotehr couple of years, there still young, we are hopfully going to be changeing there cage into a bird cage. The wire floors come out and it has a tray on the bottom. Here is a picture.

Its alot wider then it looks. And It really is huge, almost as tall as me. It will make a great bird cage. We are thinking about getting Cocateals (I know I spelled that wrong). I just fell in love with the ones at the pet store and all the funny sotries you tell about Pocorn and Muffin!

I got my chameleon!! his name is rex for now. Rex is about the size of my finger. He eats 3 to 5 small crickets a day. Peaches is a very cute chameleon!:D

We buy rex crickets from petsmart. But any pet store with reptiles should sell them:)

how big is Peaches now?? Rex is only about 2 inches ^.^ There is a girl on POTD and she is going to buy a chameleon from a breeder at a reptile show..her name is grace hudson i think.

lol Rex is shedding again! I was going to take pictures but I dont want to upset him. Did you know that if chameleons dont shed there full tail it will leave bumps on it. When I went to the pet store they have 3 chameleons a huge adult veiled chameleon, a medium size adult female veiled chameleon and a baby veiled chameleon. The biggest chameleon dident shed his full tail and he got lumps on it. They told me if Rex dident shed his full tail and there was still skin on the end I should gently pull it off. Have you ever done that with Peaches?
