We're looking for a house!!! Yay for us!! My husband just got the call from his mortgage guy, and we can get a great rate, with minimal down.
We actually have found one we really want--it's close to where we live now (we love this neighborhood), has a HUGE backyard--very important for the dogs, and a finished basement. I does need some work, like new flooring (pink carpets), and the walls need painted--there's flowered wallpaper everywhere. Otherwise, it's in great condition!! The only problem--someone put in an offer this week. We haven't heard anything yet, so it hasn't been sold, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for it. I'm so excited about the prospect of redoing the house (I watch Trading Spaces too much), and I can't wait to have a big yard for the dogs to play in.
If this one doesn't work out, we'll keep shopping.
If any of you could send some positive vibes for us to find our "perfect" home, I would appreciate it!!
