I'm not sure I understand what this "task force" thingy is all about!?!? Can someone please explain in plain english??? Thanks!!

They are trying to get a group of people to go into the shelter to investigate their practices and perhaps shut them down (I am assuming on that last statement) or at least get them to clean up their act and get the rest of the city council to wise up.

I just re-read it more carefully & I think I am understanding now. The first time I read it, I thought the task force was pro-research and it totally didn't make sense. Now I see that that assumption was incorrect!!! ANYWAY, I can't believe that a SHELTER would SELL their animals for RESEARCH! :mad: :( That is just so plain wrong!

I hadn't seen this. Thanks for posting the article. I've forwarded on to a few of my animal loving friends. This is terrible and not what "shelters" are supposed to be about!!! :mad:
