Alex crossed over to the RB Bridge:(

Alex our family cat (she lived with my mom and dad) passed away yesterday afternoon. Alex was a really special cat she was more like a person then a cat. She use to sit at the table with my brother and I and I would give her alittle bit of my food. She was such a lovable cat when she wanted to be. When she was younger she use to act like she wanted you to pet her then she would bite you. And she use to go up under my bed and pick on me I had my bed up against the wall and she would put her paw up through the crack and start pawing me it was so funny. After she got some age on her and we moved into a new house she was bit more friendly and didn't pick on us as much. I told her alot of my secrets when I lived at home cause I knew she wouldn't tell anyone. She was my best friend for a very long time. She would have been 12 years old this spring. I believe Alex had a good long life. I will really miss her. My dad told me about her passing away when we went over yesterday evening. Before he said something I could feel a something was wrong. It is really weird her having her gone now. Its almost like a dream but I know its not.

Please rest in peace our sweet Alex. We will always be missed and remembered. We love you sweet girl.

That's the one bad thing about kitties; that they can't live as long as we do. It probably does feel really weird that Alex is not there anymore. He had a good life with a family who dearly loved him, so there is comfort in that. My condolences to you and your family.

Tina, the way you told us of Alex, you have lost a family member, and not just a pet:( . It sounds as though you two grew up together and shared each others secrets. (Sometimes, I wish I had a pet cat when I was that age).
