Oh My! As I first started reading the article, I thought maybe the dog jumped out of the back of the truck and she hadn't noticed. But the lady tied him to the back of the car and drove off. What she thought the dog was going to run behind her as she drove! (I am trying to refrain from using bad language)

This was no accident! How cruel of her!

She said she couldn't lift the dog into the car and he would not go willingly so she tied the dog to the car and drove slowly to the shelter. I don't know what her version of slowly is.... :rolleyes: :mad: :(

Akitas can be great dogs, but they are NOT for everyone....especially not that woman!! Any dog can become aggressive if not trained properly, and an akita is really not a dog you would want to leave untrained!
