Oh Mama!!!! Lots of Birds!!!

Butter's favorite place to go outside is the window in my office, which I leave cracked for him much of the time. Please notice the bent blinds where he has let me know he is upset when I don't have the window open! :rolleyes: This morning, there are hundreds of blackbirds outside. He is in Heaven!!!!

Hee hee - I LOVE that little "kack kack" sound they use for prey! Oh, how the kitty and I would love to live in a warmer climate, so we could keep the windows cracked open in the winter! My kitty is glued to the windows all year round, even when it's 6° out like it is today!:eek: (My pleated blinds in the family room also show end damage from a very persistent kitty....:mad:)

My girls all sit on their window perches and kackle at the birds outside the window. There is a very big tree out there - I don't know what kind it is, but it's always got crows in it, and today - a whole flock of robins! They look gorgeous all perched out there. It's nice for me, too! :)

I'd be embarassed for you to see the spot Butter was looking at, Gini! :o It is the side yard, the only spot that we haven't at least cleaned up yet!! The leaves are deep, and the previous owners left two Christmas Trees out there too! LOL!! Plus there is an old woodpile that needs to be disposed of.........perhaps I will share pictures of other sides of the house sometime soon!! Here's a "sneak" preview, but remember this picture was taken before we moved in. It is a "street" view.

Someone was playing "hockey" with a burnt out night light that I left on the bathroom counter - so I am up pretty early in Calif.

Logan, the house is beautiful. I am drooling over all of the shrubs, trees and greenery. Your back deck looks so lovely. I loved your old house (shutters made it look so inviting), but this one looks "Like Home".
