Hey all...if anyone is interested, Tennessee's governor is going to speak to the incident of officer Eric Hall shooting the family dog. I talked to his press secretary and she said that lots of people are calling his office saying that they won't come to Tennessee anymore because of this incident and because they're afraid, so that's why he's speaking. I hope to God this is national....this ought to be good. She also said they have had hundreds of calls already and expect thousands....so get on those phones and call!!!

:( I won't be able to listen since I'm at work. If anyone has the ability to record it in a file I could listen to later, I'd appreciate it! I guess it will probably be making the news tonight to but they always edit the clips you get to see.

Thanks for letting us know Molly.

We tried every news network at 4, and they were all talking about North Korea, or something else. Did anyone get to see it? What did he say?

Since I don't live in the USA I would appreciate it if someone could re-cap what was said. Thanks.

There is a link on cnn.com for local news by area of the
country. I clicked on Tennessee and got a news report on
a tv channel 5. It had a video speach by the cop who shot
the dog. No audio of what he said, just voice over by the
local commentator about the incident & they did show the
video of the dog being shot & killed. I watched it , but I wish
now that I hadn't.:( The sounds of the family screaming &
crying was almost to much to bear. I won't say publicly what
I would do to that man if that were my dog, but he would be
looking over his shoulder the rest of his miserable life.

p.s. Smokey heard the audio on the pc & ran out of the room
in a panic. :( I turned it off...:( I feel so bad for that family.
