Pictures of Dusty looking for Pheasants!

We were doing some hunting training at a friends farm on Saturday. Both the dogs were trying to find and flush out Pheasants. I took a lot of pictures but only a few of them turned out. Sadly none of Dixie up close. :(

YES!!!! Between the two of them they flushed out 7 pheasants. The human hunters didn't do so good though. We only came home with four of them. Pheasant is one of my favorite game meals so we had a Pheasant dinner last night and had a couple friends over to enjoy it with us. I prefer Pheasant over Turkey!

Trish - I agree Dusty and Missy look so much alike! I would love to see the two of them side by side someday!!

My dad just went hunting a few days ago, with some of our neighbors. They both have Yellow Labs, Cody, and Tred, both wonderful, sweet dogs! My dad says that next time he goes hunting, I can go! We won't take Sadie, though, she's a girly-dog! LOL!:) ;)
