Dorian at the NC coast

Dorian is already causing some damage at the North Carolina coast.
Here, about 300 miles inland, the winds have picked up considerably. I'm a little worried and a little restless. I gave the cats composure treats, maybe I should have taken one as well.;)
The cat carriers are ready, and I packed their food and meds. I also have everything ready for myself.
I have never done such preparations before, but this time, it feels different, maybe because this is the first time that I'm on my own.
I hope I'm wrong and I would be happy to have done all this for nothing.

Thanks! There's no lack of warmth, it's quite tropical, still in the 80s. It is still quite windy, but I'm hoping that this is the tail end of the storm.
The kitties seem to be quite relaxed. Thank you, composure!:D
