Diego in surgery

Just after 4 am today I rushed Diego to the emergency vet as he was unable to pee. He will be having surgery this afternoon to remove the 20 stones they have found in his bladder.

Please keep my boy in your prayers today.

Diego is out of surgery and recovering. He will come home tomorrow evening if all goes well. His stones have been sent off for analysis.

Diego has let everyone at the vets know he hates them! He is doing great and will come home later today. He will recover faster at home.

He's home!! Have him set up in the spare room. He's really out of it. Cali is hanging around his door. He needs to get some rest now.

I am so glad Diego is home! There is no place like home and it's so much happier for you both, I would imagine. Surgery is the scariest for the innocent furry ones, probably worse for the peeps me thinks. 😘💕
