Kito chases his tail around and around--it is so funny--he has a curly tail though, so he never gets it, but you can hear his teeth chomping when he tries to.
Abbey never does.

Malone has never tried to chase his tail probably because he has never had a problem in catching it. I have seen other dogs do that and I think it is sooo hilarious!! Mickey must be so cute when he does that!!

Usually only when she is "REALLY" into playing though, it is very cute:D

Ruby chasses her tail occasionally. It's hilarious... when she realizes she's trying to catch her own tail she lays down and gets a VERY embarrased look on her face.

I have never seen Cisco try to chase his tail, but I had a cat that would do it all the time. I think it is just a game they play out of boredom.(?)

maybe it's because their tail looks like a toy and think someone is playing with them.
lol, its still cute :D

To be completely honest I never saw any of my dogs do this - that is until Ripley! :D He has done it two or three times in the month that we have had him and it is usually after he has gotten himself wound up from throwing his toys up in the air and playing. When I first saw him do it I thought something was wrong with him. hehe! :D :D So glad to know he is normal and a little embarrassed to say I thought it was something to be concerned about.

Well, 3 of my 4 are pure cocker spaniels, so they really can't chase their tail (even though Early has tried!) But my mixed breed, Abby, has a long and curly tail and she likes to chase it. Heh it's really cute!

Reggie and Smokey don't really have tails to chase, so they never has.

Nebo does, its so funny! Sometimes he'll be standing there wagging his tail and he'll notice it out of the corner of his eye and attack it! If I play with his tail he'll bite it also and turn in circles, funny to watch!

Tiffany, does not chase her tail, ever. Her game is to Boing! Boing! in the air over and over, just nipping a little of my sleeve when I come from leaving her while I go shopping. You know like lambs do. I got to not make a fuss of her till she sits and stays, otherwise, I would be on the ground. It is slowly working.

Sarge, my Staffy Bull Terrier chases his tail occasionally. I dunno if it is cause he ius a Staffy (& they are quite hyper) but he chases his tail so fast he usually ends up "spinning out" and falling over in a heap on the carpet. SO funny to watch!
