I love the bizarre animal stories, but I am thinking that that I see a trend here....

thank goodness they didn't need any trunk to mouth resuscitation?

How would you corral an elephant? Rope to the trunk? To the leg? Or just herd to dry land?
However they did it, it worked! :D

So glad to see this! I wonder if this is something they have done for years, and it is just now that we have the Internet that we hear of such things!

Dumbo would have flown, instead of swimming?

If elephants knew that they were an endangered species, might they think before they went swimming?

I can see a mom elephant saying, "If YOUR friends went swimming in the ocean, would you follow them?"

Here's something to ponder........

Does their skin smooth out when they are in the water for a long time?

MY skin gets really wrinkly..........;);)

I am glad the elephants are rescued and saved. How they ended up drowning in the drink however makes me very suspicious. Also, that this happens a lot is freaky to me and I would like an explanation if possible please. Could be a lovely
