Hello again!

Long time no chat! Last Saturday, I got married! We did a very small intimate ceremony at my parents house. Though we were far from the ocean, we still did a water/island theme. We did our own cooking with some Polynesian dishes.

Other than that, life has been busy with a teenager in house. The pets are well. We're all getting older. I'm officially the big 4-0. :D Anywho... onto pictures!

Wow! How wonderful to see/hear from you again, and regardng such an auspicious, happy event! Congratulations!!! We sure do miss you here. You're one of the originals. But friends are friends for life, and I couldn't be happier for you! Your wedding photos are so lovely...the setting, scenery, and of course the bride and groom! Such a beautiful couple! I wish you all the best! Now, fill us in on the people in the pics, and the food! Looks yummy!:)

I agree with Sandra, it is so nice to hear from you! I saw your Hello thread and immediately opened it. Oh my what a great set of photos my eyes did behold! It looks like you had a great day and everyone looked so good. I noted a father - son in matching shirts, and the 2 little girls in matched dresses. The island theme was really lovely as the backdrop for the event. You both look wonderful!!!

Thank you all for the well wishes! It's been a whirlwind of years. John and I met at Cooley when he was a student and working part time in the Library. We started dating in 2011. He moved in with me in 2012 and his daughter Lise moved in with us in 2013. She'll be a Junior in High School this upcoming school year. She loves volleyball, so our lives revolve around that. We took a trip to American Samoa which is where John is from in 2015. He proposed then. We were just going to go to the courthouse but ended up putting together a small shindig to include our immediate family.

For food we did Kalua Pork in the crockpot, grilled marinated beef and chicken, taro in coconut milk, macaroni salad, rice, and tossed salad. My sister Jenn baked the cake and cupcakes. We had Pineapple, Coconut, Banana, Chocolate, and Vanilla flavors.
