As some of you know, Nikki had puppies last June 28. We are going to have a birthday/reunion party next June 28. I know its a long way off, but I want to start planning early. I will invite her six puppies (who will all be bigger than her) and their families. If you have any ideas as to how to host this fun engagement, feel free to post your ideas! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Daisy had a doggie birthday party on her first birthday! We were going to throw her one this year too but I was too busy with field hockey. Anyway, we invited all her friends, which in all totalled maybe 10 dogs. We made a cake for the people, and I even made hot dogs and treats for the doggies! We also had little races, fetch competitions, and other games like that. Winners got little cheap squeaky toys we'd bought. The dogs had a blast and all the owners got to talk and brag about their babies. It's really fun! Good luck with your party! Make sure to provide a lot of water for the doggies, since they'll be all excited and playin' with everyone, and since it iwll be in June, it will be hot!

my you could set up a little home made agility course and have races. or you could just play pin the tail on the humans http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

We had a birthday party for Perry when he was two years old. Since he was born on the 4th of July, we decorated in red, white and blue. He had four Mini Schnauzer friends over plus his Granny Schnauzer and Sister Daisy. I made a angel cake with cool whip frosting so they could each have a piece of the cake. I also got some snacks from a doggie bakery here in San Diego. We got some of those crafts where, you make a stone and each dog put his foot print on it. The rest of the day they played hide and seek. We now have those stones as stepping stones in our garden.
