What a clever girl you were that day Peppy - you picked an igloo with a ready-made best buddy for you, and a family would would love you! You are such an elegant lady with your tuxedo coat, and your human has such nice pictures of you! How nice you even get along with the chickens, as I am sure some kitties would have objected to the doggie in the igloo, or objected to the chickens, but you know the difference between bird friends like the chickens, and wild birds you consider prey! Dearest Peppy, what a beautiful Tuxedo lady you are! All your photos are breathtaking. I love the first picture, looking up at you with the sunny tree branches in the background. And you are so cute with your chicken pals and your husky buddy Meeka. I wish I could reach through the screen to Syracuse, NY to pet you, and Meeka too, and the chickens (if they like to be pet)! I can't, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you and Meeka and the chickens (if they like to be pet) for me :).

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You love to lay out in the sun and in the straw with the chickens. You are very friendly, running up to greet visitors, and everyone loves you. Hi, Peppy and Meeka! You are a terrific pair! How wonderful that Peppy found her way to Meeka's igloo and decided to make herself part of the family! Our beautiful tuxedo girl Mia showed up a similar way. She was smart, tolerant (of most things), incredibly well-behaved, laid back, and above all, loving and entertaining. She was as close to Peppy as I thought was possible in a cat.

Peppy looks like Mia's twin and is even more amazing, cozying up to Meeka and running to meet and greet with visitors. Who knew you could improve on such a wonderful thing?

Seeing Peppy and reading her story gives me hope that we'll be able to find a cat like her or Mia (or such a cat will find us) again someday. We lost Mia over two years ago. Until now we thought she might be irreplaceable. We still miss her.
