In this current bitter cold weather - in fact in all cold weather months, please get in the habit of giving a simple thump to the hood of your car or truck before you start the engine. Thanks for the reminder - I always try to remember to do this.

I need to go out and clean the snow off my car - and start it - just to make sure the battery is up to snuff. I haven't driven it since Sunday, and as cold as it is - I should make sure it actually will start.. :eek:
