You may have noticed that I have more or less stopped taking pictures throughout the year, but what I did was doing a little band photography and videography, which was fun. A guy from my hometown, Stefan, is the drummer of the British prog band Gandalf's Fist (http://www.gandalfsfist.com/) (the other three members live in the UK while he's in Germany), and they released a new album this year, A Forest of Fey. Anyway, earlier this year, Stefan asked me to take a few shots of him (one is in the cd booklet now) and to film his parts for a video for one of their songs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45k_dzjEX2w). Since I was, sort of, involved a little - and because they are really good - I'm wishing them all the best and would like to introduce them to you.
You can listen to their songs here: gandalfsfist.bandcamp.com/album/a-forest-of-fey (https://gandalfsfist.bandcamp.com/album/a-forest-of-fey), hope you'll enjoy. :)
And if you like what you hear, you can also vote for the band and their album here: Prog Readers' Poll 2014 (http://prog.teamrock.com/news/2014-12-22/prog-readers-poll-2014)
(in the categories "best band" and "best album")
Would be awesome if you could take some time to listen, and maybe to vote. Thanks. :)
And here's another great song from that album, and some of the pictures you can see in that video are from a photo shoot we did this summer: Gardens of the Lost (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZwsbM2u48E)
