George will be 8 months old next Saturday 10.25.14. He looks like a cat now. This past week I let him outside and he has been having a blast with so much to explore. We only let him out when we are outside with him and he's good at coming when called. Sometimes he follows us like a dog. Everything is new and he is so excited. Below is a little video of him and the little dogs outside.

Also I'm posting some photos I took yesterday.

George and my little dogs. George will be 8 months old on Oct 25.

Oh my gosh! How adorable he is!

How cute, that tail all puffed out in some of the pictures, too.. showing how fierce he is.

And those big eyes, checking out everything.. And the open mouth with his tongue out..

Happy almost-8-months, Georgie Boy!

OMG - loved the video. George and Sassy doing zoomies - but poor LilGirl looked so submissive. That's just not a typical Chi.

What does George weigh now? Super-sized Large Luke was 12 lbs at his vet visit a couple of weeks ago, so I know he's packed more weight on since then. Those "Kittens" are still growing and won't be a year old till the end of November. Luke is now officially bigger than Wolfy who was 12.1 lbs a couple of weeks ago - and he's bigger in stature too. Harley isn't far behind at 11 lbs, and little girl Princess Leia is a little over 8 lbs. That Maine Coon that they have in them, sure showed up big time - no little kitties in that litter. :p

Grinning from ear to ear, oh what FUN this thread is!

Georgie is so handsome, and wow those blue eyes! I love that you got him a blue collar to coordinate. He is just so overwhelmed with the outdoors, lol. He's got a constant flehmen response going on, to help take it all in.

The photos are super, especially #3 with George in mid leap, and the one with him so alert, too.

Lilgirl was quite submissive to him, going up and sitting, ears back, tail tucked. That was a surprise, but then, he is so much larger than her.

Sissy must have received a nose bop from him at some time, as she was ready and bounced back when he looked her way. Love seeing the personalities as they interact.

I see you keep the 2 dogs on leash, but George is allowed to be free, interesting!

George is so handsome!! :love::love:

LilGirl is smart, I can see her saying "Hmm, cats are pointy at five ends, better make sure not to annoy this one!"

Awww, George! You are getting so big, and you are a handsome orange tabby kitty! You go outdoors with your people and the dogs, and do some exploring! You are good at coming to your people when they call you. And you are just as sweet as always! Happy 8-month-day!

Hello Everybody, Thanks for your great comments. Yes, George kept his blue eyes and yes the dogs are a bit afraid of him. Outside though Sissy is more likely to play with him. I don't know why LilGirl went up to George; usually inside she tries to stay away from George.

George weighs around 10 lbs with 4 months to go until he is a year old. He amazes me how he stretches and can nearly reach the top of kitchen counter. I laughed and said to George that soon he would be taller than me LOL. I love to watch him run outside with his tail straight up in the air.

Yes, We keep the dogs on leash every time we go out because with Sissy you never know when or where she'll go. One time (the last time) she was off leash, she ran and ran and would not listen and would not stop. We finally caught up with her and she hasn't been not on leash since then. Now LilGirl chi would more than likely be ok off leash but it makes it hard with her running free and Sissy wanting to do that too. LilGirl likes to chase squirrels. One day soon I'm going to take LilGirl out without Sissy and let her chase squirrels and Sissy won't have to watch.

Have a nice day!.. Kay

Oh he is so handsome. I'll bet he is a bit of a mischief. I love that last pic of him. I think he's laughing.
