they are a great breed they keep their kitten tude for life also they can be best described as a cross between a ferrett xrabbittxbird lol they love shinney objects like watches and such "keys" inculded and hide them for play later also they can stand up on their hind legs like a rabbitt

What happens to the long legged kitty's in the litter? I'm thinking they wouldn't be registered as Munchkins,

I have a calico munchkin. She's 2 1/2 and a real joy. The munchkins are the equivalent of a dashund dog only in cat form. Fabby (Show name "Little Mews Faberge" aka "Shorty") is the most perfect calico munchkin I have ever laid eyes on. But then again, I'm prejudice :D. She DOES have her kitten tude too.

Lowrider, I have one question. Is it just my munchkin or do all munchkins have this unique "meow"?? It's not really a meow but sort of a squeal. If she wants attention and I ignore her (which is very difficult to do) she gets indignant and lets out this real loud squeal as if to say "stop and love me!!!!" I'm just curious.

Just curious ... what is the purpose of breeding cats with short legs?

Here's a picture of "shorty" to show her short legs. Why people breed in general is beyond me. There are so many unwanted cats and dogs out in the world as it is. I'd rather give one of them a home than pay money for a purebreed. BTW, all my purebreds (Sphynx, American Curl and Munchkin are ALL rescues from breeders, believe it or not).
