I scrolled past this picture of Jennifer Lawrence about five times before I realized it isn't actually a picture. It's a drawing. Like, with a pencil.
Turns out there are some talented artists out there who are able to use the same thing I cheat on crossword puzzles with to create these intricately detailed renderings by hand. Their skill with just a graphite or charcoal pencil is the stuff of legends. My BFF is this kind of artist. I don't know how she does it. I have trouble drawing a straight line. She can do this with pen and ink, pencil, ond oils. You'd swear the objects of her art are real. I'm a math whiz, though, and she failed Algebra 1. We all have our talents.:D
