Hi, everyone. I know it's been awile since I posted, but I'm still around PT and I won't much of a stranger again! Anyhow, I have a problem with my android tablet. I have a virus on it called "fbi moneypack virus". It popped on all of a sudden after I pressed an app. They accuse me of everything (childporn, terroism, etc) and at the end tthey say through Moneyspot if I send them $300 they'll unlock my tablet. Is there ANY way of getting this off my tablet? BTW, my tablet is a coby kyros mid7024. I know it's a scam!!

Karen, I bought this tablet used and it didn't have anti virus on it and I didn't have a chance to put it on. Is there anything I can do about it now?

Yes, though you should make sure you copy off any files you want to save. Here is a page that describes 3 ways to remove it:

Copy everything you need to a protected computer, then execute a factory reset. That will wipe the device.
