New "thing" from spammers

I am now getting all sorts of spam that seems to be implying my glasses are at fault for my vision problems - that I don't really need them - HAH! I would have walked off a cliff by age 12 without glasses - I don't think they have exactly caused my near-sightedness, nor my astigmatism!

Do people actually fall for this stuff?

Unfortunately I'm guessing some people do fall for it. Many years ago I recall an older friend told me she was going to receive money from Nigeria (remember that email) BUT she had to send some money first so legal affairs could be straightened out or something like that. She really believed it. I finally convinced her that it was a scam and a way to just get money from her. Some people are just gullible.

I haven't seen that one yet, Karen. But yes - some people will believe just about anything. If I did, I would have been a multimillionaire, thousands of times over. I could have paid off the national debt by now, and still have millions left over. :rolleyes:
