Merging Facebook Accounts? HELP...

Sigh.

I spent about 3 hours yesterday trying to help a dear senior lady.

She used to be with one internet provider - Telus - and had her FB account set up under that email address.

Then she went to another IP - Shaw - and set up a FB account under THAT email address. Needless to say, that new account is blank, and the poor soul has no idea what to do.

I spent about 3 hours yesterday turning myself into a mental pretzel in resolving this. Yes, Facebook has instructions on 'merging' two accounts. You download the info from one account into a nice little zip file.

And that's it. NO information on how to import it into the new, empty account.

Any ideas, folks?

Just one more reason to use a generic email, such a yahoo or gmail, and NOT the ISP specific email address. I learned this, the hard way, and have been with yahoo ever since.
