For the first time in nearly 11 years I'm having to leave my furbabies nikki and Lexie,my kitties ,I will only be gone two nights and a day,and don't worry my hubby is here for them,it's the first time they will be in his care and he has strict instructions,he loves the Girls,so I'm sure they will be fine, but I will miss them,I will be the one with separation anxiety .aww as I'm typing this nikki has jumped up and given me a nudge,so cute.

I'm going to be with my sister for her 60th birthday celebration, unbeknown to her , we have a family dinner at her favourite restaurant planned.

Hoping my girls be ok.

The kitties will be fine. You, on the other hand, will need to take their photos with you! (Photos of hubby is optional) :D

I'm sure your kitties will be fine, Carole! I have no doubts whatsoever that your husband will take excellent care of them ;).

Now go and enjoy that big special celebration in honor of your beloved sister!

Ha ha love your comment freedom,oh yes I'm sure they will be ok,but they are used to me being home all day, mind you Lexie sleeps under our bed most of the day and appears when the princess decides to honour us with her presence usually dinner time, nikki is around a lot more but she's a daddy's girl ,yep she chose him over me even though I do all everything for her.sweet though as he is just as crazy over the cats as me :D.
The break will do me good,I've been under a lot of stress lately ,so I am looking forward to it.
Yep hubby has a list, reads like this.

Change their six bowls of water daily, two are outside, has to be cold water out of the fridge ,Lexie loves her cold water, clean litter boxes ,they have three, leave plenty biscuits down when he goes to work ,make sure cat door is open,oh and water the plants, the rest goes without saying, they will be good company for him.

I am sure they won't even miss me really.now if we Both were gone that would be different.
I'm gonna ring hubby and talk to my kitties, wonder how they will react to hearing my voice
Yes I know I'm cat crazy, and proud of it.

It's all pet talks influence ,thank you PT.

Oh and I have lots of lovely pics of them both on my phone.

carole ~ Bobcat and I know how you feel. We recently took a 1-week trip to the state of Oregon. Though it rained and stormed the whole time we were there, it was still 30 degrees warmer than it was in Alaska. So, it was a nice break.

We had a great catsitter and everything, but Bobcat worried and worried the whole time. It just so happens that a Pet Communicator was staying at the B&B we were in. (Her name is Diane Gianlorenzo and she's amazing). Anyway, at breakfast one morning, she said "Your long-haired kitty wants to know when you're coming home." Now,she knew we had cats but had never seen photos of them to know that we had a long-haired kitty (Willow).

We told her that we would be home on Tuesday. She said she "told" Willow when we'd be home and Willow was happy.
We asked how she told Willow. She said when you're leaving your pets, send them a mental picture of the sun coming up and the sun going down for every day that you will be gone. On the day that you're coming home, just send a mental picture of the sun coming up. Then they know that's the day you're coming home.

Who knows if it works? But, what can it hurt? :)

Have fun on your trip.

Will get to see my two great nephews as well they are 3 and 7 ,don't get to see them nearly enough, and tomorrow see my son and his fiancée ,son just started a new job,so lots to chat about.

I will indeed try to do what was suggested.
