Yeah...but we have Alison Redford as Premier and are still suffering from horrid, insensitive cuts to funding for staff at long-term care places.

I hope these two mayors can mitigate some of the damage done by the provincial government.

And our Prime Minister hails from Calgary. Hopefully he'll be home soon enjoying enforced retirement. There's quite the reality show going on at Parliament Hill...

I love our Mayor Nenshi. He rocked the floods. He cares! I see great things in his future, perhaps provincial politics where he can save us from the Redford mess. Or maybe federal where he can ride in and fix Ottawa. In the meantime I'm proud to have him as my Mayor!
