I had such an adventure today! Mom & Dad were busy after they watched all those men running around with a ball (I still don't get that), and Dad left the back slider just THIS much open (with the screen closed, but that doesn't stop me), so I decided to let myself out. Now you all know I'm not allowed out without my Mommy and Daddy, so this is BIG. I sat outside watching my backyard, my parents had dinner, and then they came out to the back deck above. UH OH. They didn't know I was out; I tried to sneak back in, but Daddy saw me. He was not happy with me. I think I'm grounded.....again....

Oh, Pinot - you should have known you'd get caught sneaking back in! When those guys are running around with that ball, you can get away with stuff, but when the game is over, they're gonna pay attention again!

Pinot, I am PROUD of you! You sat watching the back yard, you stayed close by, you did not go roaming. HUGE thing. Yes I know, you were in danger from hawks and other things, but you did show SOME sense. You know you got it made in the shade in your PT home.

I laughed reading that you open the screen door, no problem! My Sparkle now opens my toaster oven door, checking if there is anything good inside and helping herself if there is! You kitties sure do keep us on our toes!

My Dad really worries about me when I sneak out Pinot.
He does not realize that I was born outside and sometimes miss racing around my old stomping grounds.
I know he means well , and I love him.
Your Pal Josephine of so many names!!!:love::love:

Note from Mom: Pinot has adapted a very nice routine for her romps over the last year or so. There are two resin chairs and a side table outside the slider overlooking Pinot's garden hill and forest in the back. We have always brought her out and kept her in the yard; in the earlier years she did a bit of exploring, but not as much anymore. Her Dad will bring her out, he sits in one chair, she sits in the other and they watch the goings on together. Occasionally she'll take off after a bird, or a chipmunk, but mostly they sit and watch the sights. It's really cute - I should post a picture.

If I had to bet, the whole time she was outside, she was either sitting in the chair or possibly exploring the hill. I don't think she went far at all. If you could have seen the way she tried to sneak back in once she saw us - it was a hoot!;)
