Poor baby seal!

Excluding others for being different even extends to the animal kingdom!

Poor "ginger" - reddish furred baby seal with blue (nearly blind eyes) was abandoned by other seals, including its mother, but rescued, thank goodness!

It's very sad but that's life with the survival of the fittest. I am glad people rescued him but I have a hard time believing he was shunned because he was "ugly" but a blind pup will likely not ever be able to survive on it's own and caring for a protecting it puts the mother and rest of the colony at risk

That said... Still totally breaks my heart and I am glad he is safe now
