When she is not hiding she has made this spot her own, as in the other pictures it is/was Bonnie`s cage, now with a cover and a duvet on top.

Chris, what lovely blue eyes that Ebby has.....she must be part Siamese? Does she have a loud meow? Just curious. She is a beauty - she sorta "goes with" Bob! color wise!

Sasvermont, I have only heard her meow one time, when she was in the carrier outside the shelter! A quiet cat, for now!lol
I am not sure about her eye colour, they do look blue in the pictures but sometimes they can look greenish and other times yellow. :eek:

Oh Chris! I cannot believe how much Ebby looks like Tubby! She even has the little white bow tie in the exact same place and size as Tubby. Congratulations on getting her, and I'm so glad she's starting to warm up to you. I know she'll turn into a real sweetheart if you just give her time.

Ebby is so pretty, very shiny fur. I think it is interesting that she is using the former birdcage as a perch.

Okay, that's it - I am going to quit my job, sell my house, and travel the world to smooch everybody's kitties!!:D :p ;) (I'd like an excuse to visit Wales again anyway.) She's so beautiful - I love the second picture, with those soft little folded paws that are so kissable (although she probably won't let you just yet). She does look very healthy and such a shiny coat.

<blushing> Why thank you Samantha. :) However, you should know that Tubby is quite the young man of about 6 in that picture sooo....he's quite the old man now - although still handsome I must admit. ;) :)

Ebby is a true beauty. And she looks calm in her pictures (look into her eyes). So even though she may still hide, she is comfortable in her new home.

I read somewhere a long time ago that when kitties lay with their paws folded, it means they are "at ease" and not feeling threatened at all. If that's true, then her folded little paws indicate that she feels comfy in your house, too. I just have to keep going back and looking at her pictures - she's so pretty!
