Anyone watching this year yet? It seems like summer is on the way with this show starting! Any standouts in the audition for you so far?

I love Jesse Tyler Ferguson as a guest judge during the auditions, he seems pretty kind - but they hadn't yet started with any of the awful dancers yet ... and in the "coming up" flashes of later in the season, who the heck convinced Mary Murphy permed hair with straight bangs was a good look for her???

Anybody see this week's shows yet? Wasn't the Mongolian bowl dance lovely? THAT'S how you use a prop, people! What do you think of the whole "get the fathers up to dance" emphasis they have this year? Once or twice is okay, but ...

And I thought the whole sympathy for Cyrus's ex-girlfreind was a tad overdone, didn't you? Good grief, folks, she's 19! What teenager doesn't have a break-up or two to go through?
