I'd like to share some of my artwork with y'all! I paint birds, and sometimes horses. (But the horses are not good, so I don't usually show them)

This is painting is a commissioned male robin. Done in acrylic paint.

I also paint on naturally molted parrot feathers! :)

My pineapple green cheek, Peatree. I made this one into a necklace.

Is it hard to paint on feathers? I would think the individual strands might separate ...

Thank you! (: No, I find feathers very easy to paint on. They do sometimes split, but that mostly happens when you use softer feathers.

Those are beautiful. I've been trying to learn how to draw birds, specially cardinals. Not having much success but still having fun. :love:
