I know some PetTalkers are involved in pet therapy with their furchildren. If so, could you answer some questions for me? (I think Pickles might be suitable as a therapy cat but I have no idea whether he's suitable or how to get started)
- Which of your pet/s are involved with therapy?
- How long have you been involved in this kind of volunteer work?
- How did you know your pet/s would be suitable?
- Did your pet/s need training or orientation in order to be therapy pets?
- Who do you visit, ie the elderly, intellectually disabled etc?
- How often to do you take your pet/s out to work?
- Anything else?
