I am sitting here wearing a trial pair of multi-focal lenses.
They're designed to be a sort of bifocal contact lens. They're soft lenses and each lens has a section for distance and for close up. They also come as Toric lenses for astigmatism.
Not bad but weird so far. Trial period is a week or two. The brain learns which part of the lens to use.
Close up is ok. The brain is still training on distance as far as detailed focus goes.
Apparently these don't wind up as clear as regular lenses.
