Symptoms of a spoiled dog:

Getting one's own plate for breakfast (eggs, hash and toast)

Poking one's humans in the ribs asking for attention........and getting it.

Getting escorted out to go piddle in bad weather.....or at night.

Awww, Lady... I don't think you're spoiled. Much loved, yes! But spoiled? Naaah. :D Your mom's instructions say -- I'm the dog; love me! Sounds like they are being precisely followed.

Sending you tons of pets, hugs and lovies today, sweet girl!

Awwww I agree with Elyse. No spoiling going on there, just love.

She is so pretty. I love her white paws and white chest markings. Hugs for her!

Awww, Lady, you are a family dog! Of course you are "spoiled" .... we would not expect it any other way!

Other Pet Talkers - what you might not know is Lady's fur is all very soft, she feels pretty much like velvet to hug! Unlike her Lab side or Dalmatian side, her hair never got coarser as the ages - she's just special that way!

How is Lady doing, anyway? She was having some health issues last Spring, wasn't she? If you updated, I must have missed it.

She's doing okay with the cancer, it's either not doing much (just causing pain in the paw) or moving very, very slowly, for which we're grateful. Just like us, she has her good days and bad days, days when she headbutts Patch into the wall for being a nudge (like yesterday) and days when she's not doing so well.

We have low dose pain meds that she takes every other day, which seem to be doing the trick, but she's no longer able to jump up into the truck to go for rides.

By the way, she thanks PT for their support......she's been trying to tell us she's not spoiled, now she has (somewhat decidedly unscientific) evidence to back her up!

:p

Prayers going out to Lady, that she continues to do well for a long, long time. I never did know what the diagnosis was, and so sorry to learn that it is cancer. :(

You mean she gets to lick the bowl, and not get it served to her with a spoon, or better yet, as an ice cream cone?? Poor girl!!! Bad Daddy!!!

Sparky liked his yogurt spoon feed to him, and went bonkers for his very own ice cream cone! :D

Casey knows whenI am getting near the bottom of the bowl of ice cream and gets excited, bubba loves it when I am cutting up meat he knows I throw him some... I love to tell my husband after Casey cleans up the ice cream bowl "its clean now put it back in the cabinet" hahaha grosses him out.
