Aww thank you for the lovely messages,to be frank I am worried about my shoulder, some of you will know I injured it in an accident two months ago,I am still in pain, find that enough to be dealing with,I have an inflamed bursa, not the rotator cuff tear as first thought, however treatment, healing etc is much the same, they had better not hurt it while I am under,I have made them aware, but does worry me on top of everything else, one thing at a time is enough for me lol.

My mind is all over the place,I have now mis - placed my engagement ring, cannot find it anywhere, like looking for a needle in a haystack, i did find my other rings on the table, but i took that one to measure the size for a ring i saw online, an amazing deal,699.00 ring down to 29.99,from then on cannot remember what i did with it,miss lexie loves sparkly things and i have often caught her taking my jewellery off the table with her paw,so i should know better, but then you would think it would be on the floor if that were the case, there are a few other things I cannot remember what I have done with as well, know it's just because I am pre-occupied with thinking about the upcoming surgery .

Now I am going to see the movie the intouchables today, take my mind off things, has rave reviews and have seen the trailer, looks good

Carole, you will be in our prayers that everything goes well! Tell your surgeon if anything goes wrong, he'll have all of Pet Talk to answer to and, because he's your neighbor - "we know where he lives ....."

You'll get through this operation and will feel better when it's over. Just keep in mind that the op will help you.

Thanks Karen that made me laugh, yes not sure if my neighbor is a catholic priest as well, because he lives in a large house which is owned by the church and has always had priests there, have not been game enough to ask him, most unusual if so,so hope he prays hard before he does surgery lol,he did not know who I was on my previous visit, but I had seen him around and knew he was a specialist ,then he saw my address and goes oh and laughs, well finally going to use my medical insurance ,so going to private hospital just down the road from where I live,so will be getting top notch care.

Yes hopefully op will help, like I said not major, just minor, remains to be seen
Good thing is hubby has taken leave for ten days,he had leave owing and was told he had better use it,so good timing .

Rest and take it easy. Drink lots of water - will help flush out the anesthetic. Bet you are glad to be home with hubby and furry comfort.

Thank you my dear friend,I am doing well, was only a minor op,but it still takes it out of you, hopefully I will be able to breathe better now the nasty polyp I had is gone,No bending down for a while ,amazing no swelling,or bruising either, tony did a good job,bit tender is all, hospital took wonderful care of me, gave me meds so i would not be sick, but often still can be because of where it is,was fine on waking but after cuppa and sandwich felt very nauseous,so they gave me something else through the drip and hey presto was fine, makes you sleepy,so came home and had much needed little snooze, throat not as sore today,I am even going out to the mall today to splash out on a new top,has 30per cent off just today, nothing like a bit of retail therapy to cheer one up.

Thank you all for your kind words and re-assurance ,when you suffer from anxiety unfortunately everything seems a major, when in reality it is not .

yep i think all is going very well, but i have to admit to extreme fatigue, not sure why i am feeling this way,i have no energy, and i have been taking naps to help combat it, but other than that and feeling either stuffy in the nose or nose streaming and headaches ,which is completely normal after the polyectomy,i am doing fine.

So glad you're home and doing better! As far as the fatigue - ANY surgery throws your system for a loop, so it takes a bit to readjust itself. Naps are good; keep up the recovery!
