Cookiebaker,

I have always loved "For Better or Worse". It is one of my favorite comics because it deals with real life. That series with the bunny was very touching and hits so close to home. I hope when the day comes (not sometime soon I hope) I can be strong. I love all my furbabies like children. It's been a year since Marina Mar went to the Rainbow Bridge. I still cry and miss her so very much. I wonder if the ache ever does go away????

Thanks for posting them.

Such a wonderful strip... It make me sad.. we lost a savannah monitor not to long ago.. he came as a starve and nearly frozen rescue. We all fought so he would be better.. and when his health finally looked good he passed away...We miss him so... It has been hard because it was the first pet that my fiance lost.

This strip could have been about me and my cat Leroy this week. It hits so close to home. All the I shoulda, coulda, wouldas, that fill the mind when a dear pet goes. I too, believe animals go to heaven because it won't be heaven without them for me. Thanks for sharing this.

Exactly what I was going to say. Thanks for sharing, Anna. It has been a year since I lost my Fluffy and about 8 months since I lost my two hammies because of my naughty kitty.

Cookiebaker,

"For better or worse" is also one of my favorites. I have
also been following April's bunny story. They deal with this
issue of death of a pet with such compassion. It's very, very
touching.:( I thought of Zippy's Sophie when the bunny first
started to show signs of illness. Brought tears to my eyes.:(

I have been following this strip. It is touching and true. But the most important one tells how we never know how much time is left and to take nothing for granted. My friend died at 41 and I can honestly say "I do not regret staying close to her".
