We have this game with Breezy. You Point at a person and tell her, go get them breeze, sick em'! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Then she'll run at you and play bite your feet. She'll growl and it sounds like she's attacking you, but she isn't. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/tongue.gif Today we were playing that with her and she got really riled up! She grabbed my sleeve and she was growling and tugging at it, she looked like she was having the time of her life! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif That is her second favorite game in the world!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/cool.gif

No offense is intended, but this sounds like a game that could easily get out of hand. How old is Breezy? Have you taught her a "stop" command? What breed is she? This is a game that needs to be carefully controlled by the humans or Breezy may begin to get the idea that she is "top dog" and that it is okay to tear clothes or bite people. It would be better to teach her to "kill" a woobie, such as a chewman or booda rope than people. It's a difficult thing to break if she gets "over-enthused" about the game. I used to have an Australian Cattle Dog mix that I trained to "kill". Oddly enough, she would only do it with one of my daughters, BUT, we used an "enough" command to make her stop and she was over two years of age before I even taught it to her. We recently had to have her put down due to lymphoma @ 12.5 years of age, but she was a well-trained dog (when she wanted to be) and a great friend. I just don't want to see Breezy get out of hand and have to go elsewhere. There are other "tricks" and training that is fun for her and you and looks really cool when your friends see it. Think about it, please?

Breezy is 9 years old, and I know for sure that she would never, ever hurt anyone. When I tell her to top. She is a very friendly dog, and she has been playing this game for a long time, and if all of the sudden I quit playing it with her, she would be so sad. Breezy sounds just like my husband's boxers. They have a game of roughing and fighting. Mattie and Hooch absolutely love it. They know the rules too. Only my husband plays the game with them. They won't play rough around the kids, and when the game is done, it's done. My husband doesn't use stop but "friends" and they stop right away and sit to collect their treats. I would never worry that they would take it too far. But their training is VERY important. I'm glad Breezy enjoys the game and knows when to stop!! Have fun!
